I am a 30 year old Law graduate of the University of Exeter, with 11 years’ experience of genealogy and family history. My family tree comprises over 8000 people and can confidently trace its origins back to the early 16th century, backed up by reliable sources and evidence. I have assisted a number of people in tracing their family trees, and solved mysteries that have plagued their families for generations. I specialise in solving problems, and will often think logically or laterally to break down a brick wall. 

​I have always been fascinated by history and fourteen years ago I resolved to trace my family tree to find out more about my past and, ultimately, discover how this shaped the man I am today. I have unearthed relatives who were killed in WWI, visited their graves and visited war museums dedicated to their regiments. I have uncovered gun locksmiths in Staffordshire, the slave trade in South Africa, a murderer in Scotland, a foundling in Ackworth, whale fishermen in Canada, hoteliers in Hull, Devonian brushmakers, Yorkshire mill-owners, and a litany of other weird and wonderful stories too numerous to mention. I have learned of relatives from America to Australia, and re-established links with long lost relatives. I will do the same for you.
